Make cost examples

Here are some pricing examples for Make.

In general you could say:
  1. Just filling a mailing list of up to 1000 data entries is practically free
  2. Scheduled data-transfer scenarios are mostly low cost and easy to calculate with, Live-Update scenario's can create fast growing costs.
  1. Make's prices are reflecting in used operations, you'll get 1000 operations for free per month. Buying 1000 operations more costs around 1€, costs per op naturally fall by multiple typical conditions.
  2. Typical Make terms are operations (inside an running 'Scenario', every started process is 1 operation, every data-entry moved is an operation too) and modules (split in schedule-modules and trigger-modules)

Scenario 1 - Simple (bulk)
Example: fill a mailing list
  1. Transports all new leads into the target system
  2. The target system handles duplicates as also creates, updates and deletes leads
Usage in Make
  1. 2 Modules (source: S2L(schedule-module), target: mailchimp = 2 operations + 1op/bundle)
  2. Executes every 30 minutes from 08:00 - 20:00 (2x12h=24 scenario executions)
  3. Result: 48 op/day + number of processed bundles
  4. Costs: Free (1000 operations for free per month)

Scenario 2 - Advanced (live)
Example: just import into Salesforce CRM campaign
  1. Transports all new lead changes into the target system, live
  2. The target system handles duplicates as also creates, updates and deletes leads
Usage in Make
  1. 2 Modules (source: S2L(trigger-module), target: Salesforce Campaign)
  2. Executes live, as soon as there are updates to the records
  3. Result: 500 new records or updates/deletes of them per day
  4. Costs: Free for 2 days, around 1 € for the next 2 days

Scenario 3 - Advanced (bulk)
Example: update Salesforce CRM
  1. Transports all new leads into the target system
  2. Duplicates are handled in the Make/Zapier interface through searching for an existing record first and then deciding on what to do with it
Usage in Make
  1. 5 Modules (source: S2L(schedule-module), target: Salesforce Search/Update/Create/Delete = ~3 operations per Scan)
  2. Executes twice per day, moves 500 data-entries, which all need to be searched for (2+(500*3))
