How do I connect to the Wi-Fi HOTSPOT at Messe Düsseldorf?

Messe Düsseldorf offers a Wi-Fi called HOTSPOT, where you can use Scan2Lead SMART and Scan2Lead PORTAL. The connection is free of charge.

Hint: To download the Scan2Lead SMART app or to reset your Scan2Lead PORTAL password via email you can use the Wi-Fi offered at our service desk at the Messe Center Düsseldorf or any other free Wi-Fi.

Connect iPhone / iPad

  1. Go to 'Settings - Wi-Fi'
  2. select the network called 'HOTSPOT'
  3. a page including the options to buy or redeem a wifi voucher is displayed
  4. press 'Cancel' in the upper right corner
  5. connect again to the 'HOTSPOT' network and press 'Cancel' again
  6. select 'Use without Internet' when prompted
  7. leave the page and return to your Scan2Lead SMART app
  8. the app will indicate it's state as 'online' in the bottom left corner.

Connect Android device

  1. Go to 'Settings - Wi-Fi'
  2. select network 'HOTSPOT'
  3. a page including the options to buy or redeem a wifi voucher
  4. leave the page open and return to your Scan2Lead SMART app
  5. the app will indicate it's state as 'online' in the bottom left corner.
