Does the Scan2Lead SMART app access my private photo and contacts?

When installing the Scan2Lead SMART app on the mobile device, it asks for permission to access the camera in order to scan the visitor badge, business cards and photos (to attach to a contact).

  • Photos needs to be accessed for writing data, not reading it, unless you select a photo for upload, when attaching it to a contact. The digital picture of a business card is stored in the local folder on android devices and in a separate folder reserved for Scan2Lead on the iPhone.
  • Access to the contact list is required if you import the scanned contact from the Scan2Lead SMART app directly to your device's contact list.
